We love this gorgeously colourful hen party hosted in Northern Ireland. Originally featured on the delightful wedding blog The Promise, these lovely hens planned a fun filled event to celebrate the end of the bride Sonya’s single life. The day was full of colour, style and creative personal touches. This is a must read if you are looking for inspiration to ensure your bride’s hen do is memorable.

These ladies did a LOT on Sonya’s hen party. From zorbing to team building games at The Jungle in Moneymore, then back to Sonya’s for some of the best hen party activities that we have ever come across on HenBox, riding a rodeo bull to country music and a powder paint photo shoot!

Looks like they had an unbelievabully good time 😉
Next up was the powder paint photo shoot! All the colourful fun was captured by photographer Marc Lawson.

The hen party was hosted in Sonya’s barn, perfect for a rodeo bull and country music. The ladies decided to create a party vibe by adding pink + white balloons, pretty floral bunting and hen party banners. We always love a pop of pink at a hen party.

A hen party ain’t a hen party without a hen party accessory or two! Sonya’s hens made sure she looked super stylish with a sweet badge, a poppy pink sash and a cute as a button Little Miss Bride To Be T shirt.

The hens enjoyed a summer BBQ, accompanied by lots of homemade cakes. If you are a keen baker then put your skills to use and make and decorate a personalised cake for the bride. For those that are less culinary gifted, then take a look at our cupcake kits.
Sonya’s hens went above and beyond when it came to the personalised hen party details.
Lucky Sonya not only has a fantastic photo shoot to remind her of her brilliant hen do but also a guest book featuring sweet messages from all her favourite gal pals. Guest books always make the day more special for the bride.

Photo booth kits are a very fashionable addition to weddings, but we think they are perfect for hen parties too. Grab a photo booth prop and pose up a storm with your hens!

The date night suggestion board at Sonya’s hen party was an imaginative and creative way of letting her friends help plan her first year of marriage. It is so original, that even we have never seen it before. Basically the hens came up with 12 date night suggestions for Sonya and her future hubby. The couple can then enjoy completing the dates once a month for their first year as a married couple. Lovely!

Not forgetting the ‘Back In The Day’ memory board where all of Sonya’s friends bought old photos of the bride. Always a funny addition to any hen do.
